like the idea....b&w looks great in this shot, expecially with the hat...dont know why but it just gives it an older kinda look....must be just me....neways....kool cows...nice expression too[from the guy]...

this is a nice composition. well done interpretation as well, a bit of dark humor i enjoy.

just curious, does the print have a greater range than this? i wonder how it'd look with just a touch starker contrast.

in the print (my scanner sucks by the way) there is alot more tone. for instance, the grass goes from white to black with the contrast in tones between highlights and shadowed areas. but the sky is pretty stark in both the print and the scan... couldnt do much there.
